Alexander Pechmann, geboren 1968 in Wien, Autor und Herausgeber, übersetzte und edierte zahlreiche Werke der englischen und amerikanischen Literatur des 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts: u. a. von Herman Melville, Mary Shelley, Sheridan Le Fanu, Mark Twain, Robert Louis Stevenson, Henry David Thoreau, Lafcadio Hearn, Rudyard Kipling, F. Scott und Zelda Fitzgerald. Bei Steidl erschienen seine Schauerromane Sieben Lichter (2017), Die Nebelkrähe (2019) und Die zehnte Muse (2020).
