Andy Summers

Born in Lancashire in 1942, Andy Summers has enjoyed a prolific career since his time as the guitarist with rock band The Police in the 1980s. In the eye of these experiences and influenced by Robert Frank, Ralph Gibson and Lee Friedlander, Summers became a dedicated photographer. To date he has published four photobooks including Throb (1983) and I’ll be Watching You: Inside The Police 1980–83 (2007), and held more than 40 international exhibitions.
