Claire Keegan

Claire Keegan, geboren 1968, wuchs auf einer Farm in der irischen Grafschaft Wicklow auf. Sie hat in New Orleans, Cardiff und Dublin studiert. Im Steidl Verlag sind von der vielfach ausgezeichneten Autorin bereits die Erzählungsbände Wo das Wasser am tiefsten ist (2004) und Durch die blauen Felder (2008) (in einem Band: Liebe im hohen Gras, 2017), Das dritte Licht (2013/2022) und Kleine Dinge wie diese (2022) erschienen. Das dritte Licht wurde mit dem renommierten Davy Byrnes Award ausgezeichnet und gehört für die englische Times zu den 50 wichtigsten Romanen des 21. Jahrhunderts. Claire Keegan lebt in Irland.
