Im Alter von vier Jahren gab er sein erstes Konzert. Seither begeistert er als Solist sowie mit den bedeutendsten Orchestern, Ensembles und Künstlern der Welt. Für sein politisches Engagement erhielt er 2019 den Internationalen Beethovenpreis, 2020 ehrte das Internationale Auschwitz Komitee den 33-Jährigen mit der »Statue B«, die zuvor u.a. Angela Merkel, Ban Ki-moon, Wladyslaw Bartoszewski, Papst Franziskus und Prinz Charles verliehen worden war. In Mein Leben mit der Gegenwart spricht Levit über Sport und Mut, über das Leben in Zeiten des Virus und über seinen Versuch, Musik und Politik zu verbinden.
