Using the latest in technology—but still in a profound search into the mark, the sign, and always on the edge—Rovner's work refashions the photographic and video text. "While recording, I am interested in removing identifying details. Instead of bringing up what signifies or separates this from that, I am in search of a common denominator beyond specific identity, specific time, specific place."
