Donald Judd was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, in 1928 and died in New York in 1994. His work has been exhibited internationally since the 1960s and is included in numerous museum collections. The recipient of many awards including a Guggenheim fellowship, Judd also wrote and lectured extensively on his art.
