Mona Kuhn: Kings Road

Mona Kuhn’s multidisciplinary Kings Road is currently on view at Jackson Fine Art in Atlanta.

Kings Road combines the artist’s characteristic study of form — both human and architectural — with her emerging use of video installation and solarized silver gelatin to create a wholly immersive and partially imagined investigation of Rudolph Schindler’s groundbreaking 1922 residence.

Kings Road is a LOVE story between architect Rudolph Schindler and a mysterious woman. While creating this work, Kuhn's intention was to push the boundaries and introduce a living layer to how architecture is presented, so that they would cross time + space to meet each other again.

Jackson Fine Art, 3122 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Atlanta
Opening hours: Tue-Sat 10.00 - 17.00
