Focussing mainly on portraits of people and animals and on still lifes, these black-and-white photographs take us to the streets, cafes, abodes and Banier’s ateliers in different cities all over the world. Partly adorned with Banier’s arabesque handwriting, which adds a further layer to his images, we are presented with a collage-like ensemble of looks, poems, drawings and thoughts.
