Ihr Thema ist die Konstellation des Augenblicks, die Situation Am Fenster. Wir blicken fort und bleiben hier. Darum geht es in den Bildern. Für sie und das Konzept ein neues Wort: WindAuge - ein Kunstwort, von window ins Deutsche repatriiert. Es steht alles, was das Fenster außer einer Öffnung in der Wand überdies noch sein kann.
Im window stecken die Wörter für Wind und Auge: wind und ow. Fenster trennen und verbinden. Kein Leben ohne Sehen, kein Leben ohne Fenster. Das Fenster gibt uns die Freiheit des Blicks, der Phantasie, des Denkens. Aus ist es, wenn wir weg vom Fenster sind. WindAuge ist Sinnbild für den Menschen hier und dort, jetzt und einst. Michael Ruetz´ Fotografien machen mit Blick auf die Substanz das Ganz Andere manifest.
