Born in 1959 in Canada, musician and photographer Bryan Adams has photographed for magazines including Interview, i-D, Harper’s Bazaar, and British, Spanish, German and Italian Vogue. In 2003 Adams co-founded Zoo and received a Goldene Feder Award for photographs he made for the magazine. He has twice received a German Lead Award and was honored with an honorary fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society in 2015.
Adams’ books include Made in Canada (1999), American Women (2005) with Calvin Klein, Exposed (2012), Wounded: The Legacy of War (2013), Untitled (2016), Homeless (2019) and Hear The World (2024). His works are held in the National Portrait Gallery in London, and he has exhibited internationally in many museums and galleries including Somerset House in London, NRW Forum in Düsseldorf, the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul, and upcoming at the Reichstag in Berlin.
